Are layers safe to cut into thick hair [ AKA ashley tisdale]?

i have a picture of ashley tisdale:

and i have hair just lkie her. long and THICK. and i know in that picure she doenst have extension.

she has layers though!

im sort of on the edge of getting layers becuasei know it makes thin hair look thicker and lessens the bulk of thick hair. but will it make it look thicker?!??!?!

i have wavy hair and im really concerned.

and how much styling would i need to achieve hair lke the picture above?

I have thick hair too. always straighten your hair. condition it with a little bit of conditioner. it may get a little frizzy but it'll be fine if you condition it and brush it A LOT!!!

usually with thicker hair, if they cut layers into it, they will thin it so it will not add bulk to your hair.
