i don`t get how they thin your hair with these special scissors or whatever in different sections. wouldn`t that be like uneven layers? so if i like tie my hair up some parts of my hair might not fit into the ponytail? and how much does it cost?

Only if your hair is really thick or flat. Those scissors can add texture and character to your hair. I mean nothing in life is perfect and your hair should fit in with everything else don't you think? I mean who wants flat, mediocre, lifeless, plain, dull, boring hair. Livin it up a little..........

My friend got her hair thinned...not really sure how it works-Said it hurt a lot. I think her hair looks bad thinned out. Personally, thick hair looks better. If you leave it alone, then u dont spend the money on having it thinned. Also, once u have it thinned, u have to keep going back to maintain the look.

i got my haircut called "face-frame"

and my hair got better.

and if you do get this haircut.

tell them to use thining scissors for the longer layor.

just explain to them that it needs to be able to put in a ponytail or how every your wear your hair

i was nervous the first time i got my hair thinned but i also got some steaks of colour through it and it actually looked really good.

and i am still able to get my hair in a ponytail.

My hair is so thick that every time I go get a hair cut, I tell the barber to thin my hair and he always does. I like my hair short and stylishly handsome... I have an image to uphold.

It's not any extra...I've been getting my hair thinned my entire life, because it's so thick and unruly. They usually do it all over for me, and it doesn't affect what I want to do with my hair. If the stylist is skilled with the scissors, then you just get an overall lighter effect. I love it! It makes me not have sweaty head and bad hair days. Even with the thinning, my hair is nowhere near a "normal" weight. lol I would only do it if you have hair to spare. Otherwise, if you just want texture, you can get it razored/texturized.
