My hair has be thick my whole life. I never wear it down 4 school becuz its so thick! Friends say I should wear it down and I do but it always gets in my way and gets all frizzy. So now I decided to keep it up everyday. Its starting to get annoying and original

U could try using a straightening comb or flat iron it layer by layer and wrap it when u go to bed or just hanging around the house.

you should consider using leave in conditioner. it gets rid of the fizz. i use kiersilk, it is in a gray bottle. try getting layers in your hair but don't cut it short. leave it long. they only other thing getting a flat iron.

get a really good flat iron(ceramic and with different heat levels), and cut it sort of choppy, it makes it thinner without making it noticeable you cut your hair, but anti frizz things into your hair too, it help it stay hydtrated and shiny.. (usually straighten the night before b/c if your hair is like mine it'ss be real dry and stay kind of thick but the next day when more oils get into it it will be straighter and thinner..Idk if it sounds good but it's taken me 3 years to get this right)

and if you are going to blow dry it, get a blow dryer with ions b/c it's better for your hair.. use cold hair if you have time, if you don't once it's dried with hot air go over real quick with cool air to help prevent heat damage

also dyeing your hair sometimes thins it a bit.

from another big haired girl....I feel your pain.....and yes, straight irons will help, for about 3 hours or so...I have tried everthing!!!

It sounds really gross....but don't wash your hair as often. If I want my hair to be sleek, thin and shiny...I go about a week without washing...and if I have to...only conditioner...fructise sleek and shine....

The other tip I can give you....learn to love it....it will be with you forever...

OK sweet, I had the same problem, but is over now, you no what, I try JAPANESE STRAIGHTER, oh man works beautiful, the hair becomes shine, smooth and STRAIGHT, I love it, just try, u gonna love it. Is expensive don't forget but u gonna enjoy any penny u spend..
